Leading companies such as Torrent Power Limited, KOSOL, Adani Green, Essar Group, Nayara Energy, and Jyoti CNC are among the participants.
Officials expect the signing of over 1,500 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), facilitated by the presence of more than 110 international buyers from 16 countries, including the United States and several European nations, along with over 1,800 scheduled business meetings.
An official statement noted, “The meet will see collaboration opportunities across sectors such as engineering, agriculture, and textiles, with both international and 20 national buyers actively engaging.”
The VGRC will feature high-level discussions led by the Energy and Petrochemicals Department, focusing on Gujarat’s renewable energy roadmap under Mission 100 GW (Shapath Patra), which aims to surpass 100 GW of renewable capacity by 2030 and cement Gujarat’s leadership in India’s energy transition.
Day one will include a CEO Roundtable on “Ocean of Opportunities – Blue Energy, Green Future,” exploring nearshore wind and blue energy prospects, along with sessions on green start-ups, sustainable agriculture, and Gujarat’s role as India’s energy gateway. The exhibition will also highlight initiatives such as the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, which promotes the use of renewable energy in agriculture.
Day two will spotlight Gujarat’s progress in decentralised solar adoption through the “Solar Dividends” programme, with the release of a best practices compendium by GUVNL and its subsidiaries, MoU signings, and recognition of key contributors to the power sector.
Together, the trade show and the VGRC underscore Gujarat’s vibrant business environment and strategic emphasis on sustainable development and energy innovation, attracting both domestic and global stakeholders to the state’s growth journey.
